VISITORS INFORMATION

Due to the current situation in connection with the Corona virus, our museum is temporarily closed until June 30th, 2020 inclusive. In this connection we will announce any further steps directly on our website. Thank you for your understanding.

2020 OPENING HOURS:

The National Firefighters Museum in Hellevoetsluis will maybe open from the 1st of July till 25th October 2020 from Wednesday till Sundag from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During the Dutch schoolholidays they Museum is open all days from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

From 27th December 2020 till 3rd January 2021 the National Firefighters Museum is opened from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except on New Year’s Eve 31st December 2020 and New Year’s Day 01st January 2021. On these two day´s the museum will be closed.


ADMISSION PRICES:

Adults: € 8,00

Children 12 and under: € 4,00

Children 3 and under: free admission

Credit cards are not accepted

GROUP TOURS:

Guided tours for groups < 10 persons: € 30,00

Guided tours for groups >10 persons: € 2,50 p.p.

Guided tours for groups advance reservations are required


WHEELCHAIRS:

The National Firefighters Museum has a lift and is wheelchair-friendly, you may make use of our loan wheelchairs without charge.

TOILETS:

The museum provides disabled toilet facilities.

PARKING:

The National Firefighters Museum has FREE parking in-front of the entrance.

The National Firefighters Museum welcomes visitors from all over the world, if you have a question during your visit, don't be afraid to ask, we look forward to seeing you, enjoy your visit.

While you are in the area, there are other places of interest located nearby, there is plenty to see and do. It is certainly worth visiting the various museums in the Vesting the old fortification heart of Hellevoetsluis, not forgetting the marinas and many beautiful old buildings!

Other places that are not to be missed are the beach and the vast nature area.
